Crossfit Athletes

• Athletes demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in performance after taking the KetoStart exogenous ketone salt supplement (p=0.0004).

• Avg Fran time without supplement: 4.89min

• Avg Fran time with supplement: 4.09min

• 19.6% improvement in Fran time with KetoStart ketone salt supplement

• Breath Ketone and blood Glucose levels either remained the same or increased immediately after the workout.

• 18 Crossfit athletes of various skill levels and experience tested an exogenous ketone salt supplement from Audacious Nutrition to determine if supplementation would affect performance. They performed the Crossfit workout Fran twice, once without the supplement and once after taking the supplement. Athletes reduced their Fran time by over 19.6% with the supplement. Additional studies need to be conducted on workouts of various durations and intensities to determine the ideal timing and dosing of supplementation with EK.
